Is this site affiliated with Flock Safety or any ALPR vendor?
No. We are an independent civic transparency project. We do not sell ALPR equipment and we do not speak for any law enforcement agency.
How do you collect camera data?
We rely on public records requests, open datasets (OpenStreetMap, FlockLeaks 2024), published journalism, and verified community submissions. Every claim is sourced and every dossier lists its underlying record.
Can I request that my city be added?
Yes. Use the search box above to check your city. If it is in our queue, subscribe and we will email you the moment the dossier is published.
Do you offer guides for avoiding or disabling cameras?
No. We do not publish material on tampering with, vandalizing, or disabling public infrastructure. The site is for educational and civic transparency purposes only.
Can I see the cameras in my city on a map?
Yes. Every dossier city has a Leaflet map at the bottom of the page showing one pin per OpenStreetMap ALPR node, color-coded by manufacturer. Click a pin to open its dossier with the manufacturer, direction, mount type, and a direct link back to the OpenStreetMap record.
