The Transparency Project runs on a small team. We answer editorial mail within five business days and tips within forty-eight hours. Pick the right mailbox below so the message gets to the right person faster.
Editorial + corrections + press
Story tips, FOIA collaboration, primary-source corrections, press inquiries, partnership requests, and anything that is not confidential.

Confidential tips
Send tips you would rather not attach to your name. We never publish a tip before a human has reviewed it. Encrypted submission is also available via the tip form.
Initial review within 48 hours
Postal address
For physical mail, FOIA correspondence, and legal process, the postal address is listed in the site footer. We do not publish a street address; use the PO box on file with the Secretary of State.
What we will not answer
- Requests for the precise location of an individual ALPR camera. We publish counts and aggregate maps, never pin coordinates for a single camera on the public site.
- Requests for guides on how to tamper with, vandalize, or disable public infrastructure. We do not provide that guidance.
- Legal advice. We are journalists, not your attorney. For a specific legal question, talk to a licensed lawyer in your state.
