Submit a public-records tip

ALPR Tracker is built on public records, not anonymous sourcing. If you have a city council vote, a contract value, a retention schedule, or a cancellation report, send it our way.

What we accept

Council votes - agendas, minutes, or signed resolutions mentioning ALPR, Flock, Motorola, Axon, or Vigilant.
Contract values - dollar amounts, term length, renewal options from FOIA or CPRA releases.
Retention policies - the actual page or policy section your department publishes.
Data-sharing disclosures - named partners, ICE references, hot-list terms.
Cancellations - any public agency announcing they did not renew, paused, or terminated a contract.

Backup channels

Email tips@flockfinder.online with the document URL or attachment. Encrypted email (PGP) available on request.

Include the city, state, and date. We verify against a second public source before publishing.

Verification rules

Every claim we publish carries a source URL. Tips must include either (a) a primary source URL - council agenda, agency press release, court filing - or (b) a document we can independently confirm. Tips without verifiable sourcing are not published, even when the underlying story is true.

Anonymity

You can use an alias or a Proton / Signal-only email. We do not require your real name. We do not publish source identities without explicit written consent. For sensitive tips, prefer SecureDrop.
